SERVING THE MENDOCINO COAST FOR OVER 40 YEARS

In 1977, we opened The Sign Shop in fishing village of Noyo Harbor. In 1990, we moved the shop from Noyo fishing village onto our property in the redwoods, 2 miles from the ocean where we could have more room for production to serve our customers.

WE HAVE MANUFACTURED DISTINCTIVE SIGNS FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING: FROM CONSTRUCTION SITES, VEHICLES, BANNERS AND BILLBOARDS TO HIGH-END BOUTIQUES, LUXURIOUS INNS, RESTAURANTS AND WINERIES

The Sign Shop was born from a deep love of the Mendocino Coast and the desire to help small businesses thrive in this unique environment. We have never stopped pursuing excellence in our skills and developing our craft. When we design and make your signs you are partnering with us to make your business the best it can be.

Megan Sacks

When Megan is not in the shop adding eye catching color to amazing signs, she is out running long distances along our beautiful coastal trails. When in the shop Megan can be found working on pictorials, painting boards, and applying vinyl. As well as making signs, Megan handles all the office work that keeps The Sign Shop running smoothly.

After falling in love with the coast while spending summers commercial fishing here, Rick and Megan moved to Mendocino in 1975 and built their dream house in the redwoods. Since then they have developed deep relationships and meaningful community, grown their business and raised a family. The Mendocino Coast has given them so much and they love investing back into the community. They are members of the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce, they support the fire departments, salmon restoration, and the local schools, to name a few.
